Dr. Donna Nichols received her training in Orthodontics at the Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. However, North Carolina has always been where her heart lives.
Dr. Nichols was practically raised on NC State University’s campus, where both parents are employed. Despite efforts to bring her into the Wolfpack, she became a double Tar Heel, attending dental school and college at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Nichols also attended UNC- Greensboro’s post-baccalaureate program.
She is passionate about Orthodontics because of the external and internal transformative results, the patient relationships, and the puzzle-like problem-solving that goes into planning for that fantastic final result.
She loves spending time with friends and family, mainly when it includes travel, singing, and eating great food. She’s a foodie and loves trying new things. She’s also hoping the Alamance County YMCA’s adult league will reconvene soon so she can rejoin the team. She’s honored to serve and give back to the people of North Carolina as an Orthodontist.
